Bread Making
Knead, rest (and eat & drink a little!)... then bake!
There's bread and there's bread... and then there's Chef Matt's Focaccia and Sourdough!
So, new for 2025, we're offering a breadmaking course here at The Priory for those staying with us (also open to non-residents, too!)
So why not...
Arrive Monday... with an early check-in from midday available. Then at 3pm meet with Chef Matt and get working on your sourdough starter
Tuesday: 9:30-3:30pm enjoy a full-day course before a light lunch, with tea & coffee provided
Cost: £100 per person + room (Dinner, bed & breakfast rates also available)
Limited to 2 people per course.
During the course, in real time, Chef Matt will guide you through the two varieties of bread we use at The Priory Inn: Focaccia and Sourdough.
Bake your bread for breakfast on Tuesday morning and take home your own active starter with a loaf of each!
