Eating

We are very proud of our Tetbury restaurant which provides a seasonal feast of modern rustic food at affordable prices.  Our roots lie firmly in showcasing the fabulous local produce provided by the wealth of dedicated and talented producers and suppliers that we have on our doorstep. When you eat with us, you are dining in a 30 Mile Food Zone - we buy almost 90% of our food from within a 30 mile radius of Tetbury. Try our delicious small plates, mouth-watering à la carte dishes and variety of gourmet pizzas from our wood-fired oven.

We know that the highest quality fresh produce is crucial for outstanding food, and The Priory Inn aims for nothing short of outstanding!  Whatever your choice, you can be sure that it is made with the very best Cotswold yield.  Uncomplicated food cooked simply but exceptionally well, determined by what is in season and enjoyed in a relaxed and unpretentious setting.

Our menus and wine list have something for everyone: inventive and taste-bud tickling à la carte food made from the best local ingredients, and never over-complicated.  If you are looking for a quick but scrumptious evening meal, try one of our gourmet pizzas cooked to perfection in our wood-fired oven.  Or enjoy a glass of wine or local ale on one of our leather bar stools and enjoy the friendly, welcoming
bar atmosphere.

Our chefs are young, creative and passionate, and are always more than happy to discuss your menu choices. The simple, informal approach adopted by our service staff is professional, yet friendly and never pretentious.

Surrounding you in the gastro-inn is work by a wealth of talented local artists.  We display many local artists work such as Laurie Plant, Carole Condé from Stroud, Norma Crownshaw from Beverston, Jacqueline Govier, Nat Morley and Wendy Gibbons from Tetbury, Marie Smith from Stonehouse and Rosie Mack from Cherington.

Family friendly

Children are more than welcome at The Priory Inn - we have high-chairs, changing facilities, colouring and a toy box with books and games to keep boredom at bay, plus staff with the right attitude and of course a special menu for the little ones too!
