Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards 2013

The Priory Inn has been nominated for a 2013 award with The Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards for "Best Cotswold Menu" - a humble thank-you to anyone who thought we should be included in the running. Here at The Priory Inn, we all believe in creating a special network of connections between our guests, servers, chefs, growers, their plants and animals and ultimately the food we serve - so this nomination is exceptionally welcome!  It also gives us the chance to invite any food and drink suppliers within our 30 Mile Food Zone to come forward and tell us about their product.

Business as normal...

It is hard not to notice that some changes have happened outside The Priory Inn with the front garden transformed by the project management skills of Virtus Construction and Jagged Edge Design's plans in time for the Summer sunshine!  Our reciprocal oak pergola expertly created by William's Forge in Tetbury now has pride of place and the new Priory Inn sign has been lovingly hand-carved by Jamie Alcock of Rupert King in Coates. Thank-you to our guests and neighbours for their patience with the works and we look forward to sunny days, warm evenings and some beautiful planting so we can all enjoy the new look garden!

Highgrove Garden Tours

If you are lucky enough to be visiting the gardens at Highgrove this year, come and taste the local flavours of the Cotswold countryside at our Tetbury restaurant before or after your visit. Having catered for many Highgrove groups, we understand that the timing of your day is crucial - as is easy parking - so contact us to reserve tables for your lunch party in advance. We are happy to accept pre-orders from either of our Highgrove lunch menus featuring the Prince's Duchy Home Farm produce, making us the best possible restaurant in Tetbury for a truly local lunch!

Barter at the Back-Door

Allotment over-run with veggies?  Herb garden overflowing? Even garden flowers that are too plentiful for your use? Bring any excess to us and we will swap it at current market value for vouchers that you can use in the restaurant and bar!
