Highgrove Lunch Menus 2010

We have 2 menus for Highgrove groups - either à la carte for the quicker lunch or a fixed 2-course menu for a more relaxed and super-delicious pre or post-Highgrove lunch!

Please contact us about reserving a table and pre-ordering for your group from one of these two menus. Please note that we are only able to accept orders from one menu for each group.

A la Carte menu

Mains
Cream of Duchy Home Farm vegetable soup with wood-oven baked bread (v) £5.95

Bibury trout fishcakes with beetroot purée and a watercress and fennel salad £6.95

Salad of confit Madgett's Farm chicken, with dressed leaves cherry tomatoes
new potatoes, and crispy bacon £7.95 (vegetarian version £6.95)

Locally reared mutton pie with coarse mustard, Chad’s honey pickled red cabbage
and a home made short crust top £7.95

Warm date and toffee pudding with Ceri’s vanilla ice cream £4.95

Dark chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and clotted cream £4.95

Cox apple and rhubarb tart with Sherston egg custard £4.95

Vanilla and espresso pannacotta with biscotti and poached local fruits £4.95

Slow braised Madgett’s Farm chicken with baby shallots, tarragon, white wine and baby herb dumplings

Baked pollack fillet with a warm salad of new potatoes, Tuck's chorizo, Duchy leaves and lemon and thyme butter

Confit Madgett's duck leg with roasted root vegetables, pickled red cabbage and a rich jus

Grilled Cerney goat cheese on baked field mushrooms with toasted wood fired bread, and a rocket and watercress salad in a Tracklement’s mustard dressing (v)

Desserts
